Nice to Meet You!
My name is Becky Seizert and I would love to help you and your horse overcome your greatest challenges and achieve all of your goals. I thrive on helping people solve complicated problems and working in a team environment to solve complex problems. I hold my M.Ed in Kinesiology - Sport and Exercise Science from the Univerity of Minnesota, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA, and am an active FEI dressage rider and trainer. I also hold certifications in the Franklin Method, movement analysis, program design, and pain management.
My Story
I have been crazy about horses for as long as I can remember. After beginning riding lesson at age 5, I quickly realized that there wasn't a horse I didn't want to be riding, and in many cases, the more flawed the better. After completing my undergrad and several attempts at having a career outside the horse industry, I decided to go back to school for my Master's with the intention of helping riders become their fittest and most effective with the help of the latest sport science research. Since completing my Master's course work, I have predominantly used my education to train horses with unique rehabilitation needs, including conditions such as kissing spines, locking stifles, sciatica, EPM, headshaking syndrome, and many others. For me, the more complicated the puzzle, the more motivated I am to find the solution.
